David Hasselhoff has denied Internet reports that he was hospitalized last week as the result of a drinking binge. Hasselhoff’s 17-year-old daughter, Hayley, called paramedics when her father began staggering. But the actor’s spokesman say his “equilibrium” was knocked out of whack by a combination of medication he was taking for an ear infection and the medication Antibuse, which Hasselhoff, 57, takes to curb his alcohol addiction.
