You’ve heard of “concept cars”—the Nike Mercurial SL is a “concept shoe,” a jetblack, carbonfiber soccer cleat that weighs less than 6.5 oz. Nike originally didn’t even intend to sell these but has decided to release 2,000 pairs this December.
