Israel is the least popular country in the world, according to a BBC poll. The survey asked more than 28,000 people worldwide to rate 12 countries—Britain, Canada, China, France, India, Iran, Israel, Japan, North Korea, Russia, the U.S., and Venezuela—as having a positive, neutral, or negative influence on the world. Canada scored best, with 54 percent of respondents rating it positively and just 14 percent negatively. The bottom three were the U.S., with 30 percent positive/51 percent negative; Iran, at 18/54; and Israel, at 17/56. North Korea placed just above the U.S.
