Fresno, Calif.
As many as 10 men, most of them students at local colleges, are suspected in the rape of an 11-year-old girl in a Fresno apartment complex. Eddie Scott, 19, and Mackey Davis, 20, both members of the Reedley College football team, were arrested this week and charged with molesting the girl in a complex housing several members of another nearby college football team. At least eight other men were still being sought. Valerie Tice, a neighbor of the two arrestees, said she was shocked by the allegations because the young men were always respectful. “They’d come to my house and sit in there and play video games with my son,” she said.
