A Gross display

Prague
Billboards sprang up all over Prague this week mocking Prime Minister Stanislav Gross as a disgrace to the Czech Republic. Gross, at 35, is Europe’s youngest premier, and he has been mired in multiple scandals during less than a year in office. He has refused to explain how he got the money to buy a luxury apartment, and his wife has refused to explain why she funded her company with money from a brothel owner. The 30 billboards scattered across the small city proclaim, “I Am Ashamed of My Prime Minister.” The billboard campaign organizers say they want to shame Gross into resigning. For just $130, Czechs can get their pictures up on their own anti-Gross billboards.
