A round up of the sport headlines from UK newspapers on 20 May

Vincent Kompany’s announcement that he is leaving Manchester City is the main focus of today’s back page headlines.
The centre-half signed off in style after helping the Sky Blues make history by becoming the first men’s team in English football to win the domestic treble: the league title, League Cup and FA Cup.
Kompany lifted the FA Cup on Saturday following City’s 6-0 win against Watford at Wembley then yesterday the 33-year-old announced that he will become player-manager at Belgian side Anderlecht.
The Manchester Evening News leads the tributes to a “True Blue” after 11 trophy-winning years at the Etihad and the Daily Star says “he came, he saw, he Komquered”.
The Daily Express reports that Kompany has vowed to be the “new Pep”. He will aim to recreate Pep Guardiola’s style of play in his new role at Anderlecht.
