1. A Taylor Swift/Adele collab might be in the works

Break out the tissues and a bottle of wine, because two of the most powerful breakup songstresses might be combining forces. Fan theories are running wild after it was discovered that a song called "Broken Hearts" is registered with The Society of European Stage Authors and Composers (SESAC), and credits Swift and Adele as writers. Swifties are speculating that the song is one of the vault tracks on Red (Taylor's Version), due in November. Adele's next album is due "very soon" (whatever that means), so the song could be part of that, too. SESAC lists the alternative song title "Shattered Hearts." But whatever the title or album, it's best to begin emotionally preparing now just in case it's actually released.

2. Lil' Kim seems pretty mad that 50 Cent compared her to an owl

Lil' Kim says she "ain't bothered not one bit" by 50 Cent joking that her BET Awards outfit made her look like an owl. But for supposedly not being bothered, she sure went after Fiddy on Instagram on Thursday, claiming he only made the avian comparison because he's still bitter she once rejected his advances. "I see u still in ur feels about that dinner date u asked me on that I had to turn down," she wrote. "Let it go u have a beautiful girlfriend, I have a loving husband. Let it go." Lil' Kim then took the opportunity to promote her book, which she says "address[es] that situation" and is available for pre-orders now. A clapback that doubles as an advertisement? That's why they call her the Queen.

3. Amber Heard introduces her secret baby

Amber Heard welcomed a secret baby via a surrogate this past spring, the actress revealed on Instagram on Thursday. "Four years ago, I decided I wanted to have a child," Heard, 35, wrote. "I wanted to do it on my own terms ... I hope we arrive at a point in which it's normalized to not want a ring in order to have a crib." Heard was married to Johnny Depp between February 2015 and May 2016, and had called being a stepmother to 22-year-old Lily-Rose and 19-year-old Jack "the greatest gift." Heard has more recently been linked to cinematographer Bianca Butti, Us Weekly reports. "My daughter was born on April 8, 2021," Heard went on in her post. "Her name is Oonagh Paige Heard. She's the beginning of the rest of my life."

4. Former world leader Barack Obama holds no power at home

Ever wondered what the Obama family talks about at the dinner table? Usually, Michelle, Sasha, and Malia are just making fun of Barack. "The three of them just mock me constantly about my big ears or my weird habits or fashion sense or if I mispronounce the name of some hip-hop star that Sasha's been listening to," the former president said on the Armchair Expert podcast. "In fact, I am generally the brunt of every joke in the household. They all go, 'What an idiot.' So that's basically the vibe at my house." Despite his history in the highest office, Barack said Michelle is the "top dog" at home. "You're never a prophet in your own land," he said.

5. Bella Hadid doesn't understand what a shirt is

Bella Hadid stepped out in Paris this week in a look best described as "forgot to put a shirt on under my cardigan, but make it fashion." A similar barely-there Jacquemus top — perilously held together in the middle by a thin gold chain — was also worn by Kendall Jenner on the runway this week. Unfortunately for everyone who is not a model, this look is apparently a whole thing, with Emily Ratajkowski baring her abs in New York and Kim Kardashian doing the one-button cardigan thing in Rome. Hadid, for her part, seems seriously committed to the look: she already owns versions of the top in two colors.
