1. Prince George learns important life lesson about how sports will never love you back

As the future king of England, 7-year-old Prince George is presumably busy learning the kinds of things that a monarch needs to know, like how to wave and withhold displays of affection from his loved ones. But over the weekend, the young heir was taught an even more important lesson: that sports are cruel and will rip out your heart. Prince George attended the Euro 2020 finals on Sunday with his parents, Prince William and Kate Middleton, and was seen ecstatically celebrating when England scored an early goal against Italy. But when his team eventually lost the game during penalty shootouts, George was visibly "heartbroken," according to Page Six. Hey, it's best to teach 'em young that whatever fleeting joy might be gleaned from rooting for the Three Lions, it's only destined to be extinguished in the most soul-crushing way!
