1. Ludacris approves of 'Fast and Furious'-themed road sign in Virginia

Digital billboards throughout Virginia are encouraging people to drive safely by referencing a movie franchise in which no one drives safely. The signs peppering the state's highways read: "Driving fast and furious? That's Ludacris." Naturally, this garnered the attention of Fast and Furious star Ludacris. He shared the sign on his Instagram, writing "Virginia I Love You Back! Can't Believe this is real. Should this sh-- be on every highway?" His co-star Jordana Brewster deemed the sign "epic." F9, the latest installment in the Fast and Furious franchise, hit theaters over the weekend and saw the biggest box office opening since before the pandemic. Who's to say it wasn't thanks to a little PR from the Virginia Department of Transportation?

2. Team USA will be rocking Kim Kardashian’s Skims at the Tokyo Olympics

Team USA will have official undergarments as they head to the 2021 Tokyo Olympics, thanks to Kim Kardashian. All female athletes will be outfitted with Olympic-themed Skims undergarments, pajamas, and loungewear. Soccer star Alex Morgan, paralympian Scout Bassett, and other athletes modeled the collection, which Kardashian says is a full circle moment. "Ever since I was 10 years old, I've heard every single detail about the Olympics from my stepdad," she said, referring to Olympian Caitlyn Jenner. "These women are incredible role models for younger girls, including my own daughters, showing them that anything is possible if you work hard enough." But you don't have to work Olympic athlete-level hard to get your hands on the collection — items will be available on the Skims website, too.

3. Courtney Love accuses Olivia Rodrigo of 'stealing' idea for promo

It sounds like Courtney doesn't love a new promo from Olivia Rodrigo. Last week Courtney Love put the Sour singer on blast for her recent promo depicting a prom queen holding flowers with smudged mascara, alleging it was a ripoff of Hole's 1994 album Live Through This, which also features a prom queen with flowers and smudged mascara. "Stealing an original idea and not asking permission is rude. There's no way to be elegant about it," Love wrote on Instagram, slamming Rodrigo for not reaching out to her about the promo. Of course, the original album cover itself is pretty similar to Carrie, but Love insists it was "my original idea" and that Carrie "is another thing."

5. Cardi B reveals pregnancy at the BET Awards

To announce her pregnancy, Cardi B sure did commit, putting on an entire awards show just to reveal she has baby number two on the way. Okay, that might not quite be how it went down, but Sunday's BET Awards were as good a place as any for the announcement. The rapper won video of the year for "WAP," and she showed off her pregnant belly during a performance at the show. She previously announced she was pregnant with her first child on SNL. "Let's give it up to Cardi B and Offset, for giving us life," BET Awards host Taraji P. Henson said. "Literally."
