1. NO MORE TROUBLES PROSECUTIONS IN N.I.

John Larkin, Northern Ireland’s attorney-general, has made the radical suggestion that there should be no further prosecutions brought for any deaths caused during the Troubles by paramilitaries, police or the British Army. Larkin said his plan, to draw a “line”, was a “logical consequence” of the 1998 Good Friday Agreement.
