1. Tiffany Haddish gushes about new boyfriend, Common

Tiffany Haddish is dishing on her new relationship with Common, and it's adorable. "This is hands down the best relationship I've ever been in. Knock on wood!" she said during an appearance on Steve-O's podcast Wild Ride. The actress explained that the couple met on the set of the 2019 film The Kitchen, and that they initially became "friends" but that it "wasn't anything sexual or anything like that because my eyes were set on something else." But after the pair went on a virtual date via Bumble during the pandemic, they decided to get tested and quarantine together. "I feel more confident in me and it's not him that's doing it," Haddish went on. "I'm just way happier … And I love it. I love him."

2. Ryan Reynolds says getting married at a former plantation was a 'giant f---ing mistake'

Ryan Reynolds opened up this week about criticism he and his wife, Blake Lively, received for having their 2012 wedding at a former plantation in South Carolina. "It's something we'll always be deeply and unreservedly sorry for," Reynolds said. "It's impossible to reconcile. What we saw at the time was a wedding venue on Pinterest. What we saw after was a place built upon devastating tragedy." Boone Hall, where the pair got married, reportedly relied on the labor of some 85 slaves during its heyday, and was named for a settler who "illegally dealt in Indian slaves, associated with pirates, and concealed stolen goods." Reynolds added that he and Lively's choice of venue was a "giant f---ing mistake" and that "years ago, we got married again at home."

3. Becca Kufrin is apparently on The Bachelorette set for some reason

Seriously, what is going on with The Bachelorette? Yesterday, Clare Crawley was rumored to have left the show after deciding on her "winner" in just 12 days; she was supposedly replaced by previous contestant, Tayshia Adams. But now the sleuths at @BachDetective have discovered that former Bachelorette Becca Kufrin is apparently staying at the resort where The Bachelorette is currently filming: "Not only did they match the color of a door behind Becca with the color of the doors at La Quinta resort … her green bracelet looks just like the one producers on the show have been wearing," Cosmopolitan writes. Is Becca hanging around to give Tayshia friendly advice, despite things currently being on the rocks with her own season's winner, Garrett Yrigoyen? Stay tuned.

4. Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion announce 'instantly iconic' collaboration

Here's another reason to look forward to Friday: Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion have collaborated on their first single together, and it's dropping at the end of the week. The track is called "WAP," and the announcement was accompanied by some "instantly iconic" cover art, featuring "both musicians as they sit back to back, hair intertwined, matching wingtip eyeliner, tongues out," W Magazine reports. The track will be Cardi's first song as the lead artist, rather than a featured artist, since 2019's "Press," Vulture reports, while Megan is hot off her first No. 1 hit, "Savage" featuring Beyoncé, back in May.

5. Sean Penn secretly married his girlfriend last week

Sean Penn secretly married Australian-American actress Leila George last week, he confirmed to Seth Meyers on Monday night. "We did a COVID wedding," the 59-year-old actor explained. "By that I mean it was a county commissioner on Zoom and we were at the house with my two children and her brother, and we did it that way." Of the small guest list, he joked: "Let's say there are socially-liberating factors under COVID." Penn and George, 28, first stepped out publicly together back in 2016; Penn was previously married to Madonna and later to Robin Wright. He has two children with Wright, Dylan, 29, and Hopper, 26.
