Man Utd transfer news: Real Madrid ‘favourites’ to sign Marcus Rashford
Chelsea and Arsenal are keeping an eye on developments at Old Trafford
The arrival of Alexis Sanchez has cast into doubt the future of Marcus Rashford, says the Daily Express, with Real Madrid rated the “favourites” to sign the Manchester United striker in the summer.
Chelsea and Arsenal are also keeping an eye on developments at Old Trafford with the Blues seriously underpowered up front this season, while speculation is rife at the Emirates that Alexandre Lacazette will be sold at the end of the season. Arsene Wenger is known to be an admirer of the 20-year-old Rashford, but according to the Express Real Madrid are leading the chase for the England international.
The European champions, who were unconvincing in their Champions League last-16 win against Paris Saint-Germain last night, are expected to have a radical makeover in the summer after their stuttering form this season.

In recent weeks the rumours have linked Harry Kane to the Bernabeu but it’s understood that Tottenham are refusing point-blank to countenance a deal for their star striker, regardless of recent reports that Real would be ready to hand over €300m (£267m) for Kane.
But the Express claims the Spanish giants are also eyeing up Rashford as their Plan B, aware that he has not been given much regular game time this season under Jose Mourinho and last started a Premier League game against Southampton on 30 December.
The arrival last month of Sanchez is likely to ensure that Rashford remains on the bench for the foreseeable future and Real believe they will be able to tempt him to Madrid after the World Cup.
Apparently the bookies have received word of Real’s interest and have installed them as 6/1 favourites to land the young gun.
