Seals found to feed on sharks
And other stories from the stranger side of life
Scientists said they were “blown away” to find that leopard seals feed on sharks. The discovery makes New Zealand leopard seals part of a tiny club of marine predators that do so. ‘Bigfoot’ spotted in Australia
Three forest workers claim they spotted a Bigfoot-like creature while on their way home in a remote town in Australia. Seamus FitzGerald and his two friends were driving back from work when they caught sight of an “ape-like” figure at the side of the road. FitzGerald claimed the mysterious creature, with dark red fur, stood up and looked at them. The experience stayed with them. Seamus said: “I hardly slept that night.”
