Corpse intact with full head of hair after 10 years
And other stories from the stranger side of life

The corpse of a woman who died 10 years ago in the Dominican Republic has been found to be intact with a full head of hair after her family decided to move her body from her tomb in the Montaña Cemetery to a different location. The corpse could even stand up with minimal support. “In the 13 years that I have worked here, I have never seen anything like it,” Antonio Abreu, a worker at La Colonia Cemetery, told Primer Impacto.
Woman breaks underpants record
An American woman in Dublin lived out everyone’s dream when she broke a world record by pulling on 19 pairs of underpants in 30 seconds. Rachael Schmitt was inspired to attempt the record by her years in the theatre world, when she was forced to make quick costume changes. “When looking for a record to attempt to break, this one stood out to me,” she told Guinness World of Records. “I think this record is a great combination of speed and strategy, and matches my skill set well.”
Santas raise funds for charity
Hundreds of Santas took to the slopes at a US resort for its annual celebration of winter’s arrival, reported UPI. More than 300 people in Santa Claus costumes, plus a few snowmen, took to the slopes for the annual Sunday Santa event, which raises funds for River Fund Maine, a non-profit that “aims to create a bright economic future for the community by investing in the education of the area’s youth and by harnessing the recreational assets of the region”.
