A Google Earth user has sparked a new wave of conspiracies over Area 51 after noticing “weird lines” at the secretive military base. Footage from Google Earth over the base in Nevada, US shows flashing lines that seem to appear between buildings. “Something's going on,” says an excited online commenter. However, one spoilsport said the reason for the lines is simply a technical 3D rendering problem.
Teacher makes pupils wear boxes for exam
A teacher in Mexico made a group of high school kids put cardboard boxes on their heads to stop them from cheating in an exam. The teacher, at the Bachilleres 01 El Sabinal School in the central Mexican state of Tlaxcala, has been suspended after parents complained.

Big black cat spotted in Yorkshire
A black cat the size of a large dog has allegedly been spotted roaming the East Yorkshire countryside. The man who says he spotted the creature in fields near Skidby shows says the cat is much bigger than a domestic animal. Jon Newton told Hull Live the creature was “incredibly fast” and the “size of a large dog”.
