Free ‘living funerals’ offered in South Korea

A South Korean service is offering free funerals for the living to offer perspective on life. Thousands of people have taken part in “living funeral” services at Hyowon Healing Center. “Once you become conscious of death, and experience it, you undertake a new approach to life,” said 75-year-old Cho Jae-hee, who participated in a recent living funeral.
Jesus talks to woman who attempted suicide
A woman says Jesus Christ spoke to her and convinced her to live on after she tried to kill herself. Mercedes Suero was taken to hospital foaming at the mouth after she deliberately ingested a potent pesticide. There, she says, Jesus appeared in front of her. “He told me that he forgives me, but I had to come back and follow in his footsteps,” she said.

Barge moves after 100 years stuck above Niagara Falls
A barge which has been stuck above Niagara Falls for more than 100 years has finally been shifted by a storm. The boat, which became stuck in 1918, briefly broke loose as the river above the falls was battered by high winds and rain. However, after moving around about 50 metres downstream it became lodged again.
