A seven-month-old baby has become the youngest mayor in America after he was inaugurated as the honorary mayor of Whitehall, Texas. William Charles “Charlie” McMillian appeared in a tuxedo in front of guests celebrating his appointment at the Whitehall Community Center. “He just sat there and kind of goo-goo-ga-ga’d over the people that were all around,” said an onlooker.
Idaho man breaks world record for bizarre feat
A man broke a Guinness World Record by catching 67 tennis balls in 30 seconds while standing on a balance board. David Rush, of Idaho, made his little bit of history in front of a live audience during a Growth Mindset conference at the Boise Center. Rush has made something of a habit of breaking curious Guinness World Records: earlier this year he ran an 8min 35sec mile while juggling with his eyes closed.

Resin foetus stopped by airport officials
A resin model of a human foetus was stopped by airport staff because they believed it was the real thing. The ten-inch model was being sent from Thailand to the US to be used as a voodoo doll. However, it will not reach the US because, say police, “Sending amulets out of the country is allowed but not in the form of a dead baby like this.”
