A global condom shortage is the latest consequence of the coronavirus pandemic. Malaysia’s Karex Bhd, which makes one in every five condoms globally, has been forced to shut factories due to distancing measures, causing a shortfall of 100 million condoms for some of the world’s biggest brands.

Britney Spears has put the internet’s mind at ease by confirming she cannot run faster than Usain Bolt. The pop singer said her previous claim to have run 100 metres in less than six seconds - making her the fastest athlete on the planet - was “obviously” just a joke.

Mum soaks shopping in the bath

A mother has soaked her entire shopping hoard from Tesco in a bath. Keen to clean her food shop before it went into the cupboards and fridge, she gave the whole lot a bubble bath. The shopping included Greek yoghurts, tomatoes, tzatziki, feta cheese, broccoli, Pink Lady apples and a cauliflower.
