Police in Ohio are searching for a man who pulled a gun on a McDonald’s drive-through worker after being told there were no Egg McMuffins available at 3.30am. According to local media, the man drew the weapon, called the cashier a “vulgar name”, before speeding away from the restaurant.
Kung Fu master smashes 302 walnuts in 55s
A Chinese Kung Fu master has broken a world record by smashing 302 walnuts in 55 seconds. Video footage shows Li Weijun breaking the walnuts with his bare hands, shattering the world record of 212 walnuts in one minute, which had been set by a man in India only weeks previously.

TV presenter jailed over single mother comments
An Egyptian television presenter has been sentenced to three years in prison, after she aired a segment on her talk show that encouraged single motherhood. Duaa Sayed Salah, who wore a fake baby bump for the segment, was found guilty of “inciting infidelity and immorality”. Her show was also immediately taken off air.
