A Houston man is recovering in hospital after he was shot by a local resident who objected to him masturbating while riding a bicycle near her home. When the woman fled into her home as the confrontation escalated, the man attempted to break into the house. The woman fired one
shot through the door, striking the man in the chest. He is expected to survive.

Police in Nebraska have reported that a man involved in a single car accident took a frog hostage during a confrontation with a deputy attending the scene. The man reportedly threw rubbish, yelled at the deputy and threatened the life of the frog. He was subdued with a Taser and arrested. Officers say drugs may have been a factor in the incident.
Lemonade stand robbed at gunpoint for $17
A nine-year-old North Carolina boy has reported to police that he was robbed at gunpoint of $17 he had made selling lemonade. The boy was reportedly selling the drink to save up for a lawnmower and start a landscaping business. A local hardware shop heard of the boy’s story, and donated a new lawnmower.
