A farmer in Australia’s Northern Territory has reported that the ground spontaneously caught fire on part of his farm, and it’s proving very difficult to put out. One expert suggested that it was a combination of cow faeces and urine, coupled with an extraordinary heat wave, that led to the section of the farm to combust.

Bathroom warning mistaken for bomb threat

A Home Depot shop in Kansas was evacuated after a customer reportedly made a bomb threat in the bathroom. When police arrived to investigate, they were told a customer told others in the bathroom: “You all need to get out of here because I'm fixin' to blow it up.” Police later determined the man was simply talking about his urgent need to use the toilet.
