Coutinho ‘not a Barcelona player’
The futures of Philippe Coutinho and Ernesto Valverde hang in the balance following Barcelona’s “shambolic” Champions League defeat against Liverpool, ESPN reports.
Former Liverpool star Coutinho is expected to be the first Camp Nou casualty after the horror show at Anfield on Tuesday. The Brazilian “is not a Barcelona player, that’s been made clear”, a club source told the broadcaster.

Meanwhile, Barcelona’s board will meet to decide the fate of head coach Valverde, and Spanish newspaper AS claims Ivan Rakitic and Samuel Umititi may also be on their way out.

Champions League hero Divock Origi is set to be handed a new two-year contract by Liverpool. The striker scored twice for the Reds in the 4-0 win against Barcelona on Tuesday. (The Guardian)

Eden Hazard’s move to Real Madrid may be in doubt after Fifa upheld its two-window transfer ban on Chelsea. A source close to the Belgium star said the decision was “very, very bad news”. (AS)
Bale wants Real stay
Despite claims that he does not figure in Zinedine Zidane’s plans, Gareth Bale wants to stay at Real Madrid. Bale’s agent, Jonathan Barnett, said: “I am not sure that Mr Zidane wants him to stay but at the moment Gareth wants to stay. He has got a contract, he will quite happily see it out until 2022. He has been and is, in my opinion, one of the top three or four players in the world. This game is a game of opinions and Mr Zidane doesn’t think that. That is his opinion, he is entitled to it, I won’t criticise him.” (Sky Sports)
Juve overhaul: Allegri, Dybala and Pjanic to leave?
According to Italian newspaper La Stampa, Serie A champions Juventus are set to part company with head coach Massimiliano Allegri. Their squad is also set for an overhaul, with the Daily Mail reporting that Paolo Dybala and Miralem Pjanic could be shown the door. Argentine forward Dybala has recently been linked with Manchester United.
Inter offer hope for Sanchez
Inter Milan may be set to offer Manchester United forward Alexis Sanchez an “escape route” out of Old Trafford. The Chilean has failed to impress since joining from Arsenal in January 2018. (Daily Mail)

Herrera set for PSG
Manchester United midfielder Ander Herrera is preparing to join French champions Paris Saint-Germain this summer, after reportedly agreeing a contract worth £25m. Herrera is out of contract at the end of the season and can leave on a free transfer. (Daily Mirror)
Saints plan £30m move for Mitrovic
Fulham striker Aleksandar Mitrovic is a £30m target for Southampton. The Serbian is likely to leave Fulham following their relegation from the Premier League. West Ham United and a number of Chinese Super League clubs may also be interested. (Daily Express)

Swansea City winger Daniel James is being linked with a move to Newcastle United. James could replace Ayoze Perez, who is a target for Italian clubs Inter Milan and Napoli. (Daily Mirror)
