Ndombele: Spurs are a great team
Lyon midfielder Tanguy Ndombele would be interested in a move to Tottenham Hotspur this summer. The 22-year-old - who has also been linked with Manchester United, Manchester City, Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus - told Telefoot: “Yes, it’s true that Tottenham are a great team. They are a big club, they finished fourth in their league, they reached the Champions League final, they are still a big club like any other. Which player would not be interested in a big club?” (Metro)
No offers for Werner
RB Leipzig boss Ralf Rangnick says there has been no offers for striker Timo Werner. The Germany international has been linked with Liverpool, but Rangnick said: “So far, no club has reported their interest or said they would speak with Timo and want to sign him.” (Sky Sports)
Carrasco no go
Arsenal appear to have been priced out of a move for Yannick Carrasco. The Gunners are reported to only have £45m to spend this summer and Carrasco’s Chinese club Dalian Yifang want £30m. (The Sun)
Meunier still a target?
Arsenal have “opened talks” with Paris Saint-Germain over defender Thomas Meunier, but like the deal with Yannick Carrasco, the Gunners could again miss out because of finances. PSG are demanding £27m for the Belgian. (Daily Mirror)
