Manchester City are set to beat rivals Manchester United to the signing of Leicester centre-back Harry Maguire.
The Daily Mirror reports that City boss Pep Guardiola will snatch Maguire away from United in a £65m deal.

United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is keen on the 26-year-old, but according to the Mirror the Red Devils have failed to meet Leicester’s valuation.
A medical has been pencilled in for Maguire, the Daily Star adds, and the deal for the England international could be finalised in the next week.
Maddison on the move?
While Manchester United look set to miss out on Harry Maguire, they are still in the race to sign his Leicester team-mate James Maddison. It’s claimed that the 22-year-old playmaker has told his representatives to set up a face-to-face meeting with United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. (Daily Star)

Benfica attacker Joao Felix is on the verge of completing a €120m (£106.9m) transfer to Atletico Madrid. The 19-year-old Portugal sensation has been linked with the majority of Europe’s top clubs this summer. (London Evening Standard)

Reds ready to trigger Firpo release clause
With Alberto Moreno leaving Liverpool this summer the Champions League winners are on the hunt for a replacement left-back to challenge Andy Robertson. On their target list is Real Betis defender Junior Firpo. He reportedly has a £45m release clause in his Betis contract and Liverpool are ready to trigger it. (ESPN)
Bartomeu wants Dembele to stay
Liverpool have also been linked with a move for Barcelona forward Ousmane Dembele. However, Barca president Josep Maria Bartomeu has reiterated his desire to keep hold of the 22-year-old French international. (Daily Mirror)

According to reports in Germany Atletico Madrid midfielder Rodri has decided to join Manchester City instead of Bayern Munich. City are set to pay £62m for the 22-year-old Spanish international. (Kicker)
