Man Utd transfer news: Zlatan Ibrahimovic signs for LA Galaxy
Swede leaves Old Trafford and will take his ‘bravado and braggadocio’ to the MLS
Zlatan Ibrahimovic is no longer a Red Devil after Manchester United agreed to terminate his contract early.
“Great things also come to an end and it is time to move on after two fantastic seasons with Manchester United,” the veteran Swedish striker wrote on Instagram. “Thank you to the club, the fans, the team, the coach, the staff and everybody who shared with me this part of my history. #foreverred.”
Rumours emerged earlier in the week suggesting that the 36-year-old would be off imminently after 18 months at Old Trafford, but the speed of the announcement from United took the football world by surprise.

In that time, Ibrahimovic scored 29 goals in 53 appearances. But his United career suffered a serious blow when he damaged cruciate ligaments last April during a Europa League fixture.
Ibrahimovic will arrive in Southern California next week with the LA Times warning its readers that the striker will bring with him his customary “bravado and braggadocio”.
