Anthony Martial has “binned” contract talks with Manchester United, because he is “waiting to see what is happening with Jose Mourinho”, The Sun reports.
The pair fell out during the summer, and the French striker has only made one appearance so far this season. Mourinho’s United future is also unclear.

The Old Trafford board are keen to keep Martial, who only has a year left on his current deal, but the club have the option of extending for another season.
Italian champions Juventus remain in the hunt to sign the 22-year-old, adds Italian site Calciomercato.
Jorginho ‘agreed’ Man City move
Jorginho is reported to have agreed to a move to Manchester City before eventually signing for Chelsea. The midfielder’s agent, Joao Santos, says Jorginho and City reached a deal but that the Premier League champions failed to do likewise with the player’s then club, Napoli. Santos told Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli: “It was all done with Jorginho. There was an agreement, but there was no agreement between the clubs. All parties have to agree, and one did not.” (Metro)
Banks: Butland may need to leave Stoke
Gordon Banks says Jack Butland may need to quit Championship side Stoke City if he wants to remain in the England squad. Banks, who was England’s World Cup-winning goalkeeper in 1966, said: “I’d love Jack to stay at Stoke for the long term, we all would, because he’s a really super goalkeeper, but he might need to leave for the sake of his England career, which is a shame for Stoke fans though it’s understandable.” (Sky Sports)
Lucas Hernandez: Atletico Madrid to Manchester United
United have been linked with a move for Lucas Hernandez, but his club Atletico Madrid are ready to increase the defender’s release clause to €150m (£135m) in order to fight off the interest from Old Trafford. (talkSPORT)
Cahill ready to quit Chelsea
Gary Cahill may be set to leave Chelsea in the January transfer window, after falling out of favour with new boss Maurizio Sarri. The 32-year-old wants first-team football and is linked with Chelsea’s London rivals West Ham United. (The Sun)
City sign teenage keeper
Manchester City have beaten Chelsea and Tottenham in the race to sign Gavin Bazunu from Shamrock Rovers. The 16-year-old goalkeeper was signed for a reported fee of £420,000. (Sky Sports)
Nine-year-old joins Arsenal
Arsenal have signed South African “wonderkid” Jayden Adetiba, after he impressed during a five-week trial. The nine-year-old says it’s a “dream” to sign for the Gunners. (The Sun)
