Goal.com reports that Inter Milan star striker Mauro Icardi has yet to open new contract extension talks with the Italian club.
Icardi’s agent claims that the Argentine’s current deal includes a €110m (£96m) release clause and this will alert interested clubs such as Manchester United and Real Madrid.

The 25-year-old has scored 112 goals in 190 games for Inter. Although he still has three years left on his deal, the Serie A side will be keen to extend his stay at the San Siro.
City to sit down with Sane
One player who is set for contract talks is Manchester City’s Leroy Sane. The German winger was dropped earlier this season by Pep Guardiola but his stunning return to form has put his talks back on the agenda. (The Sun)
United ‘relaxed’ over De Gea
Manchester United have been in talks with David de Gea’s agents since August about a new deal, but the Old Trafford club remain “relaxed” about the goalkeeper’s contract situation. The Spaniard’s current deal expires at the end of the season and United have a one-year option to extend it until 2020. (ESPN)
Eden Hazard: Chelsea to Real Madrid
According to reports yesterday, Chelsea star Eden Hazard “dreams” of playing for Real Madrid. Today The Daily Telegraph says that the Belgian is “waiting for a signal” from the Spaniards before deciding on his future at Stamford Bridge.
City in driving seat to re-sign Sancho
If Manchester City want to re-sign Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund they have “one key advantage”, the Manchester Evening News reports. Now valued at £100m, the teenage England winger has impressed since moving to Germany. He has been linked with City, Manchester United, Arsenal, Liverpool, Tottenham and Chelsea.
Tanguy Ndombele: Lyon to Tottenham/Man City
Tottenham have joined Manchester City in the race to sign Lyon midfielder Tanguy Ndombele. It was reported that Spurs bid £40m for the 21-year-old this summer and may need to up their offer to £55m in the January transfer window. (Daily Mirror)
