Action on Poverty
Working towards the eradication of poverty in Africa and South Asia
Do you want to eradicate hunger and poverty? Saduni, age nine, and her sister were at risk of entering hazardous child labour, commercial prostitution or being trafficked because their fisherman father could not earn enough to provide for his family. Without a midday meal, his daughters were unable to attend school. Can you imagine being the only student without lunch day after day? Through APT, Saduni¹s father was offered livelihood skills training to give his family the life they deserve, free from oppression, fear and abuse. Today, his income feeds his family all year around. We build safe, lasting livelihoods to put food on the table, every day, forever, for the poorest and most vulnerable people in Africa and South Asia. Your kind donation will give someone like Saduni a future free from hunger.
