Cobalt
A charity helping people affected by cancer, dementia, and other life-limiting conditions
Cobalt is a medical imaging charity helping more than 18,500 people every year affected by cancer, dementia and other life-limiting conditions. Our caring, friendly staff use innovative scanning technology improving and saving lives. We operate a fleet of mobile MRI scanners that travel throughout the UK, as well as our Imaging Centre in Cheltenham. From here, we deliver free training and educational courses for local, national and international doctors and healthcare professionals, sharing our experience and research work. We raise money to invest in the best technology and spend 89p of every £1 of our total income on our charitable work, funding scanning, diagnosis and research of life-limiting conditions. People¹s health has been at the heart of what we do for five decades.
