Founded in 1994, the Theodora Children's Trust is a children’s charity helping to make children smile at what are often the saddest and most challenging of times.
20 years on, the charity sends entertainers, called ‘Giggle Doctors’, to 32,000 sick, disabled and terminally ill children every year. The charity believes all children should have the opportunity to enjoy their childhood, no matter how ill they are. The charity works to improve the lives of children in hospitals and hospices by bringing music, magic and laughter to the children's bedsides. The charity was a finalist in the Third Sector Excellence Awards for Small Charity, Big Achiever.
