Sen. Harry Reid breaks ribs, facial bones in exercising accident

On Thursday, outgoing Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid was hospitalized after a piece of exercise equipment he was using broke and he fell. The accident resulted in several broken ribs and facial bones for the Nevada Democrat.

Reid was at his home in Henderson, Nevada, when the accident occurred, NBC News reports. In a statement, his office said Reid was brought to St. Rose Dominican Hospital in Henderson, and then transferred to a different hospital for further testing. He is expected to make a full recovery and will be back in Washington on Tuesday.
