This is what a burst salt facility looks like
It's an over-seasoned mess, really.
In Chicago, a Morton salt warehouse wall collapsed on Tuesday sending a literal mountain of white crystals onto the car dealership next door. No injuries were reported but at least 11 vehicles were damaged.
Inspectors say the wall may have collapsed because the salt inside was piled too high. The building also has outstanding roof violations. In other news, 2014 marks the 100-year anniversary of the Morton salt girl, the product's diminutive, umbrella-holding mascot. So there's that. --Lauren Hansen
