Maybe Sony will make a little money off of The Interview after all. After reversing course and deciding to release the comedy about killing North Korean leader Kim Jong Un in about 200 small, independent theaters on Christmas Day, Sony said on Wednesday that it is opening the film at a screen even closer to you on at 1 p.m. Eastern time on Christmas Eve (a.k.a today).
For $5.99 to $14.99, you can stream Seth Rogen/James Franco movie on YouTube, Google Play, Xbox Video, and Sony's own SeeTheInterview site. According to The New York Times, Apple passed on an invitation to stream The Interview on iTunes, at least on such short notice.
