What's in a name?
House Speaker John Boehner's (R-Ohio) unflattering nickname is now the name of a horse. And no, it's not a phallic innuendo.
When Boehner cried after taking control of Congress in 2010, some in the press dubbed him "Weeper of the House." So Ohio race horse owner Don Wright, who says he met Boehner two decades ago when the Speaker was running for his first term, decided to adopt the name for one of his own young prizewinners, according to The Daily Advocate.
"I saw this as an opportunity to have some fun and show some support for John," Wright told the paper, adding, "I have had a lot of fun racing Weeper of the House."
