Cleveland police office sue after they kill two unarmed black men — and more in our collection of strange revelations about the nation
Nine Cleveland police officers who killed two unarmed African-Americans in a hail of 137 bullets in 2012 are suing the city, claiming they were unfairly punished because they are not black. The officers were suspended with pay for three days, but claim they were unfairly subjected to "unofficial punishments" because of their race.
