Mike Huckabee: Michael Brown would be alive if he was 'something other than a thug'
Add Mike Huckabee to the list of people who think Michael Brown was killed because he acted like a "thug."
"It's a horrible thing that he was killed, but he could have avoided that if he'd behaved like something other than a thug," the former Arkansas governor and one-time presidential candidate said in an interview with Newsmax.
Huckabee has more support among Republicans as a potential 2016 candidate than Sens. Ted Cruz (Texas), Rand Paul (Ky.) and Marco Rubio (Fla.), according to a CNN poll released this week.
