It's a bird! It's a plane. No, it's — a bird full of explosives and metal junk?

Afghan police on Sunday claimed to have killed a non-native bird equipped with a bomb and an antenna that was seen walking around a region of the country prone to Taliban attacks, according to NBC News. When police shot the bird, it blew up and "suspicious metal stuff" flew about, a provincial police chief told the news network.

"We are gathering all the stuff, but found parts of what looks to be GPS and a small camera," Maj. Gen. Abdul Nabi Ilham said. --Jon Terbush
