Watch the chilling first trailer for Jurassic World
After lying dormant for more than a decade, the Jurassic Park franchise is back. The first trailer for Jurassic World reintroduces a Jurassic Park in which the kinks have finally been worked out. The park has become a sprawling, Disneyworld-esque theme park built around real-life dinosaurs, with thousands of eager patrons.
But things start going wrong when overreaching geneticists engineer a new dinosaur that's far more dangerous than anything nature created — a dinosaur that eventually, inevitably, escapes. "Evacuate the island," warns Chris Pratt. "She's a highly intelligent animal. She'll kill anything that moves."
Jurassic World hits theaters in June. Until then, hold on to your butts.
