Putin: The U.S. will never subdue Russia
Russian President Vladimir Putin talked a tough game about the U.S. on Tuesday, Reuters reports.
"They do not want to humiliate us, they want to subdue us, solve their problems at our expense," he said during a meeting with the People's Front, his core political support group. "No one in history ever managed to achieve this with Russia, and no one ever will."
Putin also told Russian firms to boost domestic market sales following sanctions between the West and Russia over the crisis in Ukraine.
