James Bond may have found his new archenemy. Christoph Waltz — best known for his Oscar-winning performances in Inglourius Basterds and Django Unchained — has reportedly been tapped to play "a nemesis of sorts" in the next 007 movie.
Though the role has been roundly described as a villain, Waltz's character will be "a complex one," says a source at The Daily Mail. "It's not immediately evident whether the part's friend, or foe, or a bit of both."
The Wrap reports that Waltz will fill the role originally intended for Twelve Years a Slave star Chiwetel Ejiofor, whose negotiations to appear in the film fell apart several weeks ago.
