Mitch McConnell: 'There's only one Democrat who counts'

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) took a victory lap Wednesday, saying in a lengthy press conference that he was hopeful President Obama would work with the incoming GOP majority.
"There's only one Democrat who counts. That's the president," he said.
McConnell added that under Democratic control, "the Senate was the problem" preventing Washington from getting anything done. "I've been called by three prominent Democrats," he said, and they're "anxious to be relevant again."
