That's according to two polls released Sunday, one of which gives incumbent Democratic Sen. Jeanne Shaheen the edge while the other puts Republican challenger Scott Brown in the lead. A poll from WMUR said 46 percent of likely voters would vote for Shaheen while 43 percent would vote for Brown, but a New England College poll gave Brown a razor-thin edge over Shaheen at 48.7 percent to 48.2 percent. As CNN notes, both projected leads are within the polls' margin of error, so the race is effectively a dead heat.
FiveThirtyEight gives Shaheen an 82 percent chance of retaining her seat.
