And Kansas City's dream of winning its first World Series in 29 years ended Wednesday night, as the Royals lost a hard-fought Game 7 to the San Francisco Giants, 3-2, at Ewing M. Kauffman Stadium in Kansas City. This is the Giants' third World Series championship in five years.
