A new poll by Republican pollster Vox Populi shows Democratic incumbent Senator Tom Udall (Colorado Senator Mark Udall's cousin) leading Republican challenger Allen Weh by just four points (47-43), making the New Mexico Senate race, which was expected to be an easy win for Udall, suddenly relevant.
Fox News reports that another poll conducted by the Albuquerque Journal shows Udall "backed by 50 percent of likely voters and Weh by 43 percent." A similar poll conducted in mid-September had Udall with 51 percent and Weh with just 38 percent.
Eleven percent of voters in the Vox poll said they're still undecided. Voters cited their main concerns to be the economy and jobs, followed by concerns over ObamaCare.
