Arnold Schwarzenegger commemorates 30th anniversary of The Terminator
Arnold Schwarzenegger posted a special video message via YouTube on Sunday, marking the 30th anniversary of the original Terminator movie — the franchise that made him into a movie superstar for the next two decades, culminating in his election as governor of California in 2003.
"Today's the 30th anniversary of the first Terminator movie. And the reason why this franchise has been so successful is because of you, the fans. So I want to say thank you, to your loyalty; thank you, for your support."
"And for me as an actor, it was great to play a machine," he said — and at that, his right eye is shown lighting up in red. --Eric Kleefeld
