Democratic candidate Gary Peters looks like a shoo-in to win Michigan's Senate race, as a new PPP survey released Thursday finds him with a double-digit lead.
In the poll, Peters leads Republican candidate Terri Lynn Land 53 percent to 39 percent among registered voters. That spread is roughly in line with the findings from other recent polls. Real Clear Politics' poll aggregator gives Peters a 9.8 percentage point lead.
The latest New York Times forecast now gives Peters a 95 percent chance of winning.
