Time to dust off that tuxedo again: perennial awards show staple Neil Patrick Harris has been tapped to host next year's Academy Awards ceremony. Variety, who broke the story, adds that Craig Zadan and Neil Meron will return for their third consecutive stint as the show's producers.

With the possible exception of Tina Fey and Amy Poehler, Harris is easily the most accomplished and acclaimed host to tackle a major awards show in recent years. He has repeatedly hosted the Tony Awards, and debuted as the host of the Emmys earlier this year. Based on his previous appearances, fans can expect to see plenty of song-and-dance numbers at the Academy Awards ceremony on February 22, 2015.
