Adam Sandler has signed a deal with Netflix to produce and star in four feature films for the streaming video service. The movies will premiere in the almost 50 countries where Netflix is currently available.
"When these fine people came to me with an offer to make four movies for them, I immediately said yes for one reason and one reason only... Netflix rhymes with Wet Chicks," Sandler said in a statement. "Let the streaming begin!!!!"
Sandler's Happy Madison Productions will work in tandem with Netflix to develop all four movies, which don't have titles yet, The Hollywood Reporter says. Earlier this week, Netflix announced it would release its first feature production, Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon: The Green Legend in conjunction with The Weinstein Co.
