FBI: U.S. has identified ISIS executioner who killed American journalists
The U.S. has identified the ISIS executioner who beheaded two American journalists and a British aid worker, FBI Director James Comey said Thursday.
Comey did not release the name or nationality of the suspected killer. In videotapes of the executions, the member of ISIS appears to speak with a British accent. Last month, British Ambassador to the United States Peter Westmacott said British intelligence was "close" to identifying the person in the execution tapes.
