Dutch airline KLM is using an adorable beagle as its lost-and-found service

Nice news coming out of an airport may be a rarity today, but KLM managed it when the airline announced a new member of its lost-and-found team at Amsterdam's Schiphol Airport.

Sherlock is an adorable beagle trained to return forgotten items — everything from cell phones to stuffed animals — to travelers still in the airport. Sherlock's handler, Dirk Van Driel, says the pup works on everything from endurance to socialization during training sessions. Beagles are known for their incredibly strong sense of smell, and you can see Sherlock's skills pay off in the delightful video, below. --Sarah Eberspacher
